Making the decision to study abroad for 5 weeks in France was easy and hard. Doesn't make sense? I love France! It is a beautiful country and I love the French language! I have always had a desire to speak fluent French and to live/study there. When I learned about the study abroad program it seems like the perfect program for me, except I have 3 kids. How to I go to France for 5 weeks and leave my 3 kids at home. That is the hard part. All the logistic have fallen in to place. Have an awesome babysitter, wonderful supportive husband, etc. Emotionally, it's been hard. I'm going to miss my babies so much! I plan on enjoying myself, but I will worry, it's the life of a mother. The program is only 5 weeks, it will go by so fast, (this is what I tell myself to feel better about leaving).
While I am in France, the city of Tours, I will post pics and chronicle my weeks there for my kids, family & friends to see what I am doing, eating and seeing.
